With a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Columbia University and over 20 years of experience teaching in top clubs in New York City and around the world, Kellie Roman brings unique and authentic expertise and insight to her fitness instruction.

Kellie’s extensive background includes representing Adidas America as a spokesperson, serving as a guest lecturer in Germany and Switzerland, and training at the World Seido Karate Organization. 

Kellie is certified in Powerstrike kickboxing, Impact, Forza, Kettlebells, and Studio Cycling, and has taught Cardio Sculpt, Core Cuts, Jump Rope!, and Body Conditioning. Her signature class, Form and Function, is a focused conditioning workout that emphasizes attention to form for maximum results.

Current certifications include the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Paranatal Fitness, and the Equinox Fitness Training Institute. She is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has provided workshop instruction for the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Kellie has 20+ years of experience as a fitness instructor in New York’s top fitness clubs including Equinox Fitness Clubs, Sports Club LA/Reebok, Crunch, Vertical Club, and New York Sports Club. Prior to her time in New York, Kellie Served communities in Colorado by directing fitness programs designed to improve the self-esteem of young women.

Kellie has appeared in a variety of fitness videos, TV segments, and magazines, including Vogue, Fitness, Self, Mademoiselle, Regis & Kelly, NBC with Erica Tarantal, and Tyra Banks. She served as an official presenter for Bally Health & Tennis and The Vertical Club, and was a member of the Reebok City Jam Demo Team.

A lover of dogs, Kellie spearheaded the successful Puppy Powerstrike event at Equinox Fitness in New York, fusing fitness with awareness to raise over $2,000 to end the practice of puppy mills.

In her own fitness life, she enjoys running, cycling, weight training, snowboarding, mountain biking, and keeping up with her adorable dog, Isabella.
